~*~CONTEST ~*~

I figured I'd make this bigger and not hide it in the post below. I'm having a contest. I need a name for a heroine. She's a bartender. She's tall with dark brown hair, thin build, blue eyes. She's got a tough exterior and a soft interior that rarely comes out. She needs a good man to make it come out. '-) The winner receives a $5 gift certificate to My Bookstore and More. Jo Jo suggested Rochelle or Richelle M'Lady suggested: Zarilla, Pheby,Celistia, Cordelia Robin suggested: Ramona-Jasmine-Juanita-Zondra-Mikayla-Helena-Alexis-Brooke-Krystal She is the third heroine in a trilogy of friends and her two best friends are named Grace and Tory. Winner will be posted here and will need to send me his/her email address here. Thanks!

I suggest vicki. Why? Because it's soft on the tongue at first, then it becomes harder. It also goes with Tori and Grace. My other choice would be Linda (same reason, and not often used). Say it with me. Linda. No one uses that name anymore, yet it's so pretty and evocative.

Hey, if you don't use it, I will *gg*

Jordan, I kinda like that one!
(Of course I liked the original XXX from the beginning.)

Valentine. They can call her Val. (I know someone named Valentine. Honestly, I really do, LOL)

Ernestine/Ernesteen and she called be called Teen or Tiny even for nickname.

Ada.

Just my ideas.

Huggles and good luck. Nice to see you back. And I LOVE the new look to the website!

Hi Rae!

I like Keely, Carmen or Karmen, Cassandra or Cassie or with a K. I'm picturing a strong sounding name. Or maybe a name like Kate or Kathryn. Kelby or Kelly, Kelsy or Kennedy. Kenzie (which could be short for McKenzie) or Kerry.

I think I have a thing for K names. :-) Good luck!

Ann,

Vicki is nice. She'd end up with Vick as a nickname tho. And Linda is an aunt's name that I haven't seen in years. So you use it. Plus, we just watched The Wedding Singer the other day and well, Linda is on my shit-list of names. '-)

Donica, Jordan is nice and thanks for the welcome back. It's been a hard week and I'm up for some fun. I need to catch up on these names lists.

Carly is the original name for the heroine and while I like it. If I name the hero Sonny, how many General Hospital people out there will be thinking I did a fan-fic? Same with Carly and Jackson and I really need this hero to have two different names. One he uses for his band and the other for his suit and tie day-job.

I'll pick a winner soon. Kids are going to do the whole dance, dance, revolution. I can concentrate better without the music blaring.

JoJo told me to get on and post... so my suggestion is Kierstin. Always thought it was a pretty and girly name.
